I don't know what happened but this place is beautiful. It had its charms before, but now it is just plain and simply beautiful. I'm going to take a walk and it's going to be the longest walk I've ever gone on.

We sure this Percy-the-talking-dog is just a regular (talking) dog and not one of our residents who's been turned into a dog? Only a) I know for a fact that happens, and b) pretty sure I met a Percy who doesn't seem to take kindly to anyone's authority but his own, so...

This whole zoo thing reminds me of one of the very few childhood memories I still remember where I went to the zoo, got a two scoop ice cream (chocolate and lemon sorbet, good combo), and went to see the chimps. We were allowed to feed them peanuts and stuff at the time so I held out a peanut to the little chimp only to have him fake me out and take my whole ice cream instead. I guess the bars weren't very thin at the time, security wasn't what it is today, or he was just artful but there I was, crying my eyes out while a chimp ate my ice cream.
I can't remember if I imagined my brother laughing at the whole thing or not. But someone was laughing.

To whoever sent me the flowers and the chocolates yesterday, thank you. I'd love to know who it was, but I also get the whole fun of staying anonymous.
Also, in the spirit of the day after Valentine's Day (better, in my opinion, than Valentine's Day), I've left a lot of cupcakes of various flavors in the common areas. No funny business to them, just sweet treats. I hope you all enjoy.
Non-Valentine's Day question to those tech-inclined: who has the best tech lab or instruments right now that might be able to give me some time and attention? I have some upgrades I want to make to my wheelchair.

Do people like robots? I guess there wouldn't be too much of a purpose for the little defensive guys I'm used to making. Which also means there's no use for the super astro laser flaming cupcake canon I thought was a funny if impractical idea last night. What about trick arrows? Ollie was pretty annoyed with them but I've made them work and Jason melted a guy with one so... you know.
Jesse Faden. You're just so super cool. Like in a way that both Jaybird and Kori combined couldn't match. I really want to build you something useful and equally as cool but nothing seems to be measuring up. So... tell me what you'd think would be cool and I'll scrounge up the parts and make it.
Also. Does anyone know if this place has, you know, certain meetings probably at a community center that I can attend? Jason and Kori can't really compete with Jesse but I miss them and being on my own is always kind of difficult.

You know, one of the greatest debates ever growing up in Wayne Manor was whether or not deep-dish pizza is technically a casserole or not. Pizza, after all, by definition is a flatbread.
We still don't have the answer. But I can tell you this; "It's just tomato soup in a bread bowl" almost started a war. Sides were chosen, allegiances challenged, the simple Sunday night life of a beloved New Jersey butler forever tarnished....

Hi guys, so I've wanted to do this sooner but then people were very good haired llamas and it got tabled.
I thought I'd invite you two to dinner to a) thank Napoleon for treating me to the (not to be dramatic but) best Christmas of recent memory while I was broke and new and b) celebrate Ilya's return.
I know we don't know each other at all, Ilya but I think it's something to be celebrated. And a work-friend of Napoleon's is a work-friend of mine.
So what do you say? Oh and pick a restaurant, we're either going there or getting delivery, you do not want me to cook. Trust me.

Well, we're having an eventful week here in Night Vale. It would seem, and we don't want to jump to conclusions here, that many of our residents have turned into llamas. No one is quite sure the cause of this incident, but this reporter would like to announce that this is possibly the most adorable problem Night Vale has had since that time a beagle puppy that was also the lord of hell nearly enslaved the entire town with its army of Strangers.
No word yet on how to solve this problem, or if there even is a solution.
In other news, City Council is disappointed to announce that this month was a failure of the "None of the New Residents Went Home So You Get a Pizza Party" contests they never told anyone about. The following new seem to have gone back through the portals and - presumably - to their home worlds this week:

Arctic activities are abundant, astonishing, astounding and A-1 on all accounts.. But that's no excuse not to be safe about it. Bundle up, buddy up, and be smart. If not, isolate indoors, hibernate in a hoodie, and have yourself a hot chocolate.
